New Intex Excursion Pro Mods

Back in the fray again with recently purchased Intex Excursion Pro. I have made hard floor, motor mount, Minn Kota CL Endura trolling motor. Still some fine tuning, deciding on whether I need fenders or not, how to launch with a Skeg.You know, just the standard queries.... A few

Nice set up! I couldnt quite tell from the pics, do you put the hinge side down or up? How does it do with the elecric motor?

Those are some serious upgrades jameshunt. At least we both know that these kayaks are well built. You must be just flying with that Minn Kota.
I upgraded the paddle to a Carlisle Magic Mystic 230cms. Added a Scotty fly rod mount on the bar. Purchased a Fox40 Rescue Throw Bag and marine safety kit. The only mod I've done was to make a drift sock out of an Ikea shopping bag. All I did there was to drill holes and install eight plastic snap-on grommets at the bottom of the bag to let the water flow through. Works like charm and come in handy to carry the gear once out of the water. I've had no issues with the kayak.
