New Jersey: F Cove, Treasure Island info...

I'm looking for information about F Cove, Treasure Island (Osborn Island), or any other similar destination near the Manasquan Inlet. I know the locations of these two spots, have them locked into the GPS, and I'm looking forward to checking them out... but whatever additional local knowledge, tips or anecdotes anyone wants to impart... it's all appreciated.

Also curious about nearby dockside restaurants, and places to get gas.

The F-cove has a sandbar at the entrance that is very shallow. It is very easy to get stuck on it if you are not very careful. My understanding is that the cove is party city for young people.
