How did you mount the trolling motor on the front? Looks like you used spacers to make it level.

When I replaced the bow supports and cover plate I beefed up the supports with a solid piece of ply. It still has a little bow to it, so I needed to add some shims to level the TM a bit, as well as allow clearance for inserting/removing the arm for the TM quick release bracket. The spacers were a combination of stainless fender washers and rubber fender washers. The bracket is through-bolted with washers and loc-nuts. Much easier mounting just the bracket rather than the entire motor, but a lot of trial and error to get the right shim/adjustments.

Thanks for the pics...brought back lots if fond memories. I had one if those back in the 80's. Great boat...ours had a 70 hp and would do 35 mph.
Had lots of good times in that boat....

This one is finishing up looking really nice!! Been watching for awhile and glad to see it all coming together. I really like that later era low profile splash well.
