Not trying to argue here either... Just trying to make things as clear as possible for anyone reading this and applying to their own trailer....

The emphasis of words is only to try and clarify.... NOT (see what I did there) to imply an attack. ;-D

HA! Look what I started !
Im not looking for any extra height, I just thought they would have been a little higher than 20yr old springs...
I was just a little concerned due to the fact my old ones broke this winter while sitting....

well in that case just get it weighed.... you are either fine or not fine lol

honestly I would be more concerned if the spring HAD sagged since new possibly suggesting an overloaded trailer

As has been said, the only way to know for sure, is get it over a scale and figure out what everything weighs, that way you have hard numbers to figure exact parameters. We are just a bunch of hacks on here, kinda like asking us how to proceed with an upcoming lawsuit, we all have opinions and they are worth..................................

What you pay for them!

I will have to find a place to weigh it.....I live in Mass. and I don't have local access to a dump, most weight stations have been closed over the years and the only grain you will find is on a piece of wood! I'm sure if I drive 30-60 miles I will find something.
