How did you crate the lower unit? Just build a wooden box just large enough to fit it and strap it down?

i had a heavy cylinder that i slipped over drive shaft, then wrapped the whole thing in a garbage bag, put in a heavy card board box using extra cardboard to line the inside, filed with styrofoam, and styrofoam peanut packing. lots of strapping tape.

I'm at work today and they got a firewall that won't let me into my email, so I'll have to wait til this evening to look at it.
