New Member, first Wellcraft! PICS!

Hey, all!
New member to the Iboats forums here... love it already! lots of info, and a bunch of really good people!
Bought this 1989 Wellcraft 216 Eclipse for 4200 bucks, trailer included. It's in impeccable shape for the age, immaculate inside, good to really good hull finish, and the 5.7L mercruiser looks brand new! Needs a new control cable and bilge float, but other than that, MINT! My first "big boat", just bought a new Standard Horizon VHF, and Humminbird GPS/fishfinder for it. I'll be on a big lake here in Maine mostly, and I'm Really pumped up about it!

Yeah, It seems to have been very well taken care of.
The 5.7L engine looks brand new, not a spot on it, compression on all 8 cyls range from 175-180, which I thought was pretty darn good.
floor is solid throughout, seats are just a bit faded, but no rips or cracking.
Interior of the cuddy looks new. No staining or mildew to be found.
The canvas is nice, but a bit faded, and needs some windows replaced... all hazed, cracked, and crappy, but no big deal...
Very happy to have found her!

Looks great! Nice price too.
I didn't know that Wellcraft had a 216 cuddy in 89.
Their website only lists the 215 bowrider for that year.

I too just bought a 1991 Eclipse 216 with the 5.0 Mercruiser this past weekend. A great deal IMO. The thing is a beast in my driveway right now and I am getting used to the longer trailer. Hope to cruise around Clearwater this weekend.
