Hello everyone, finally decided to join after purchasing my first boat 2 weeks ago. She is a 2006 VIP 202 Vantage RE with the 5.0 MPI Mercury 260HP with Alpha drive. I can't wait to gain some more knowledge from the older members here and hope to stay for awhile. I have some boating experience since I was a member of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. for 5 years. Great forums BTW.

Thank you and actually it's Alfa as spoken. The name came from when I went to Sea Cadet boot camp. Alpha company, barracks building 95. I've been reading and really enjoying the site.
