If you want to maintain and fix your Mercruiser, get an OEM mercruiser manual. Not a Seloc or Clymers aftermarket waste of money.
For your engine, you need Merc manual #3. pn 90-95693. You can usually find a used one on ebay.
As far as a manual for your drive, it's online...... Free.

Oh Holy Cow, this link just scored me the service manual for my Bravo 3 drive! Thanks! I am also new to boating, but now after reading the engine and stern drive maintenance, and searching and reading all these posts, I can save a ton of $$. THIS FORUM IS AWESOME. Thanks Don

Uhhhhhhh, craig240, that link does not go to a service manual for a Bravo drive. Now if you start a new thread and include the year of Bravo III you have, I can give you a link to the correct manual.
