hello to you all...just purchased a 14 ft johnson glass boat with a 1982 seaking chrysler 7.5. started right up and i bought it. i am very excited to go fishing next weekend and was wondering about reccomended fuel mixture 50:1 ? and oil to use ? as well as is this model air cooled with water cooled lower unit? or is it water cooled? thanks so much. model #vwb52179c

Use outboard oil certified for TCW-3. All Chryslers except the smallest (4hp) are water cooled.

thank you...is the mixture 50:1 ? also does the water pump work in neutral ?

Yes to both

But if you haven't yet done so replace the waterpump impeller before using the motor!
Don't gamble on the sellers word that it's been done recently. Do it yourself and then you'll KNOW it's been done!

Think of the waterpump as the heart. If it quits pumping it's soon dead.
