See now that's directly the point I was trying to make. If you end up looking to upgrade in only a few years you will most likely get slaughtered if you buy new. Go used with the first one so you can trade up fairly painlessly. Your first boat probably won't be your ideal boat but your second one might be. I can totally understand the reasons to buy new, but I just don't think it makes sense if your going to trade in after a few seasons.
