A friend just bought a new pontoon with a new 2013 Mercury 115 4 stroke. He has taken 5 cruises and has been towed back three times. Each time he has found the main power 15 amp fuse under the motor cover blown (fuse D). The boat runs for 20 -30 minutes then blows the fuse and motor is dead. If he immediately puts a fuse in it immediately blows. If he waits 2 or 3 hours and puts another fuse in it starts and runs 20- 30 minutes and quits. It is under warranty but the dealer he bought it from is 200 miles away so he is hoping to resolve the issue himself.
