Good morning all, I've just purchased a new Mercury side-mount control for my 1994 Merc. 115hp, Trim/Tilt, etc... and I have a question regarding the small plug/pigtail that is coming from the control box. I believe that it is the harness for the trim/tilt, however, I think I already have that connected through the 8-pin harness for my trim/tilt. Do I leave it hanging, or do i have to purchase another smaller harness to reach back to the motor. Is that the part (in the directions) that tells me to stuff that back into the box and zip-tie it tight?
I'd appreciate it if someone can clarify what to do with that 8" short harness. I doesn't really show it, or spell that out too clear...
