I just received my brand new mercruier ceramic ?manifolds. spacers and risers . The matting surface is painted. I have read a service bulletin from mercusier some time back that stated to leave the paint on for corrosion protection and just check for drips. I have installed Osco manifolds on my last boat and they came with specific instructions to remove the paint on the matting surface. SO take off the paint or leave the paint? I know I should buy the manual but any help would be appreciated (5.0 Bravo 3)
