I have a 1985 Skeeter boat that had a 1993 75 hp Mercury and Quicksilver controller. I bought a 2016 Mercury 90 hp 4-stroke EFI and a new (2021) side mount controller with a 14 pin engine connector (no issues there) and another pig tail with a 10 pin connector plus a few other wires. The only gauges I have are tach, speed and fuel level.
1. Can I use these gauges with this motor?
2. Do I need more gauges, i.e. oil pressure, temp, etc.?
3. Do they make an adapter from the 10-pin plug to a 5-pin plug for the tach?
