new motor, longer shaft length?

got a 1985 bayliner capri with a force 125 outboard on it. Model 1258x5a. found a super deal on a 110 horse evinrude that has a 25 inch shaft. The boat's 40 miles away, so measuring the shaft length would be a pain. anyone know the shaft length on my force? If it's 20 inches, will the 25 inch evinrude still work? do I need to make any modifications?

If it is too long, you can buy a jack(lift) plate. See Cabelas or Bass Pro.
