I just picked up a 20' four winns cuddy cabin boat. It is a 95'. It has some water in the gas (which I can drain and replace) and I was wondering what else I should do afterwards. The water is from condensation from sitting. It is a multiport 5.0 fuel injected engine (ford) so at least I don't have to clean out carbs. Should I just run some injector cleaner through it? Also, not sure if anyone can compare, but how much difference in gas will I see between my old 96' force 120 (dual carb) on a 17.5' bayliner vs my new 95' 5.0 efi 10'6" boat? Thanks for the info guys.

IMHO anytime you get rid of a force you win. Where are the carbs on a MPI engine?

Replace the fuel filters and water separation filters.
