Bought a 2003 180 BR/4.3l with doghouse covering the engine. Love the performance and size of the boat,
I really like the ease of service aspects of this interior, but I think my family (including myself) would have preferred the Super-Sport interior.

Is it a daunting task to retro-fit the rear bench seat/sun deck to this boat?

If you are handy with wood I don't think it would be all that bad at all. Then take the frame you built and have it upholstered in color matching vinyl and get a stainless piano hinge and your done. I bet the frame can be done in a day easy. I know my favorite part of boating is supervising my wife sun bathing on the sundeck of my boat, I better leave it at that.....

I may a actually take a shot at that.
I'd need to find a lot more pictures first though - unless it is cost effective to buy pre-made from a salvaged boat.

Also, will this hull support a wakeboard tower without having to add reinforcements?

I'm sure it will but you have to realize that a quality tower is important as well, a quality tower will transfer torque to the hull properly where a cheaper universal may not, Installation is nearly as important, bolting a tower on for instance instead of screwing it to the hull is huge, adding a backing plate is a good idea to spread out the torque from an advanced or XL wakeboarder, countersinking the gelcoat will help the hull relieve stress theres lots to learn when your dealing with fiberglass.

And were still waiting for pics BTW......

boat is in storage for the winter now, but here she is - before I rigged the trailer properly for her.
I need to move the boat back on the bunks about 18", re-rig the winch mast and bow roller, then add a spare tire to the tongue to bring the tongue weight back up again.
