New Project, 89 Dynasty(Pics)

My Incle and I are at it again. We just picked up this 89 Dynasty regency That had been sitting(Outside of coarse) For about 11 years. Came with a bunch of extras(skis, jackets and such). We got it home, replaced a soliniod, hooked a battery to it and some gas treatment and she started and ran like a new one. Well almost it idles a little rough due to old fuel. Floor and all the interior will have to be replaced. all guages, Trim, charging and power steering works good. Ill post our progress. Anyone ever messed with one of these boats, I agree it isnt very old to be in the shape it is.

i had a 1998 given to me that was in that shape. they had bought for their son in is sophomore year, in 4 years he had it in that shape. and then it sat out side, for 2 more years, part of that time with the plug in.

Are they decient units? We bough this bat from a couple that lives up the road about a mile. They bought it new and gave 26,000 for it so they said. We gave 1000 bux for it. Boat seems solid. Trim works good. Also it goes in and out of gear smooth as well. Putting in a floor is new to us, But boating is new to us as well

We ripped up the old floor today, Structure was pretty good, With a little carpentry work we got the new floor in place and fastened it down, Looks pretty good. Also got the boat out and pressure washed it and cleaned it up. Tommorow we are going to get carpet and do some of the finishing work.
