New Project Boat ebay special

I scored this locally off of ebay. It is a reinell 180 with a 140 mercruiser and a hp 120/140 out drive. Nice stainless prop also. Got most of the floor out and started cleaning it up. The person i got if from showed me the parts where he rebuilt the motor, says its got 10 hours on it, it does start and run. He also gave me the service book. Al this for a mere $400.00 I like the body style it is a 1977. I think i will convert the other one to a fishing rig or sell it.

nice score. looks like you have some work ahead of ya, but i agree with you on the hull..nice lines. looks like she will be a nice ride. id convert her to a CC. she'd look like a whaler! keep us posted.

Yes i live on allatoona lake in Acworth. The other boat which i thought i got a good buy on turned out to be junk. The only thing good on it is the motor, sterndrive, seats and trailer. The hull i think is not worth fixing, rotted floor, transom and a hole in the bottom of the boat. I will proably part it out and fix the reinell.

thats a heavy boat, don't expect it to be a speed demon. but it will be a good boat.
