New Project what do you guy's Think ? 1976 Rally 23'

As I am approaching the end of my first project In a sick and twisted kinda way I am looking at a second one !!!

I will post pic's of my terminated project when Done !
I haven't been as good documenting the first project but will try harder with the second one.

I need to know if you guy's or gal's have heard of rally boats ?
All I know this is that it's 23' 1976 rally boat with a 165 inboard Merc ?

Where the built strong ?

The stringer and transom seem very strong even though the deck is rotted

I will be doing core test and all but was looking for an overall opinion !!

i havent heard of rally....but a 165 might be under powered for a 23....


but any project is better than no project

i too have a 19.8 rally boat 228 with little info on it and am in the prosess of restoring it needs a deck, engine ,and upholstery...but the hull seems solid .. any pics of your boat?
