Well it has been a while since i have posted but have been very busy at work.I was given a 1989 Maxum from a friend. This is a 19' boat with a 305 CI with 230 HP. The only problems I can see is that the floor is rotten which i've started ripping out and the stringers are still glassed over very good. I will post more pics as I get deeper into the project if anyone is interested.
Re: New Project

Ty JB Just got here and was checking in order Chrysler/Force troubles then Projects thought I was off? :)

However that is not fair he has 2 Boats.

Looks good let us know what you need help with we are here to help. Best tools to remove floor are-
1. Dust mask
2. Safety googles
3. Long sleeve shirt/pants
4. Shoes and socks :)
5. Very important an Angle grinder. 4.5" is probably the only tool you will use but I might be wrong :(
6. A thousand cutoff wheels 2 grinding disks and 1 wire wisk.

To get the full floor out you will need to remove the seat pedistals front and rear. Depending on the 2 consoles you may have to remove but probably not. If the Transom is in good shape you will not need to remove the top of the boat, and best if you don't. If the foam under floor is wet remove and replace with 2-part foam.

Ask lots of questions and post pictures some of us cannot read but we can sure see.
