Evidently they label em "specials" to rob ya outa the good stuff?!

The engines had lower prices, wholesale and retail. Whether the lower price was passed on by the dealer...

No they didn't. It almost looks like the engine got them if the stuffers were in the parts bin on the assembly line. If not, too bad so sad. The difference they make is small, but a lot of small differences do add up.
Hear that. Found stuffers in a 90 once?

Are you certain it was a 90, and not a 140/115/110/112 block, minus the bubbleback under a 90 cowl?
It was a 90.Hence my confusion regarding all that bs from then on ...

Here are the reeds and stuffers from my '82 90hp (silver paint on shift) and my '79 140hp (blue paint on shift).
