This happened a couple weeks ago, finally got around to pulling the pictures off the camera. We went camping out on the sandbar for the weekend. I had just gotten my new prop put on a Wednesday and the following Saturday I hit this. Luckily it stuck to the front of the anti ventilation plate. I hit it right in front of our sandbar and limped back in then brought the motor all the way up out of the water and there it was hanging off the AV plate. It was stuck on there pretty good. I couldn't pull it off but I had a 2 lb mallet on board and it took quite a few good whacks before it finally fell off.

It has to be one of murphy's law to replace a prop and hit something the next time out. Got lucky this time though.

yep, ya sure got lucky. didn't even ruin the new prop. way to go...

i got me a uso the other day too. fortunetly for me, i was at idle. i could feel the back of the boat move sideways as i hit it. while i did hit it with my prop. i see no damage to it. so i got lucky too. and i'll take it... :D uso's are a bummer for sure..
