New prop size-what to expect?

I have a 1989 Johnson 110 with a 13 3/8 x 17 prop. Today I bought a 13x19. I was told that I should expect a little more speed but less towing power. The 17 pitch prop ran about ~5800, and was told this one will run at ~5500. Should I expect a speed increase or will I be below the recommended RPMs?

I'd guess you switched brands and/or styles of propellers, maybe even went from aluminum to ss. If that's the case it'll be pretty hard to guess at what the true differences will be or might be.

What make and size boat, how high is the cavitation plate above the boat bottom (measured via a straightedge)?

So I had my boat out with the new 19'' pitch prop and wow was it NOT the right one. The motor ran at a little over 5k WOT and I swear it took half the lake for it to plane out, not kidding. Good news is that the local prop shop let me swap it for a 17'' pitch which was on there originally.

id put a 4 blade 17 pitch that will put you 5500 and have awsome performance

where is cavitation plate in relation to bottom of boat? always max out setup before resulting to buy in props. this to unsure max performance
