I went to Michigan Wheel’s website because I was disappointed my 17’ center console boat with a 100 hp Johnson OB would not stay on plane under 4000 rpm. I entered my stats and they made a propeller recommendation. I went from a 15-1/4 x 15 3 blade aluminum prop to a 14-1/2 x 17 3 blade Rapture and got these results:
I can throttle down to 3500 rpm and stay on plane
WOT was 5800 rpm, now 5400 rpm
4000 rpm was 19 mph, now 24 mph
4500 rpm was 24 mph, now 31 mph
5000 rpm was 31 mph, now 37 mph
WOT was 35 mph, now 40 mph
I expected some change, but not this much. Wow.
BTW - I ordered the prop from the Marine MegaMall on Monday and UPS delivered it on Wednesday. Wow again.

Re: New Prop

What is your minimum speed to stay on plane?
What happened to your hole shot?
Does the boat porpoise?

Re: New Prop

The new prop is the Rapture with the replaceable hub sleeve. I didn't check speed for staying on plane - I'm guessing it's around 15 - 18 mph. Hole shot actually improved. Planes in about 2/3 the time as for the old prop. No porpoising with correct trim adjustment - that seemed to be the same as for the old prop.
