My 5.7 Jasper had a main leak- they paid to fix it under warranty.

Re: New rebuilt 5.7

I replaced my 5.7 chey in my 1990 reinell King Cobra with a rebuilt automotive longblock. most shops now use high end parts for rebuilding such as brass freeze plugs and valve stem seals. Just make sure they do. I only needed to install the marine oil splash pan and the marine cam from my old Block. Oh! and there was no opening in the block for a manual fuel pump, I had to install a electric fuel pump. As long as your existing motor has Freshwater cooling(inclosed system) there should be no problems with heads or Manifold. I've been running my new motor for the last 2 seasons with no problems. Good luck!
