new sail?

I have received receved a 15 foot Chrysler Man of War and it did not come with a sail. Dose anyone know where I can get a new or used sail?<br /><br />Thankyou for your help

Look for a local sailmaker if you are near any sailing centers. Shore Sails is a big time maker that has franchises all over.<br />If they don't have your pattern they will measure your rig.

Try Bacon & Associates for used sails. They have been around a long time and sell/broker used sails. I purchased a mint (couldn't tell from new) Soling mainsail from them at about 1/3 of new cost. Get your measurments and contact them for a list. http://www.baconsails.com/

If you know the precise measurements, you could even give eBay a try. Or you could check the web site of Masthead Enterprises located in St. Petersburg, Florida -- you could do a Google for it. They have a wide selection of used sails in their loft.
