I'd like to replace the seals on my boat's fuel filler. It is a 1996 Four Winns Sundowner 205, there's a long thread about my boat and the Ford 302 engine (that I rebuilt last year)https://forums.iboats.com/threads/1996-four-winns-sundowner-with-5-0-cobra-engine-and-drive.766501/ , so far I've been asking all my questions on that thread but this post seems more suited here...
This is the fuel filler

Writing on it reads Attwood series 3660 and 018116.
I want to replace the seals because they look a bit perished, the filler is on the bathing platform that might get washed over with water if I take it on the sea, don't want any water in the fuel tank. It doesn't seem to click shut too well but I hope changing the 2 seals will help make it click shut properly.
Done a bit of internet research but haven't found seals listed for this filler.
I was a bit worried to read this filler isn't supposed to seal watertight anyway, it incorporates the breather for the fuel tank... If that is the case what is to prevent water entering the fuel tank through it if a wave washes over it?
