The existing bench seat in the truck is dicked, and to have it re-built/covered down here is US$320-380.
So i was wondering if I shouldn't go for a new/modern and more comfortable seat.
The options down here are limited....they take seats from a wreck...maybe a Ford Explorer or something, re-cover, then face the issues of installation, then have to get a Compliance Inspection and plate. Bit of an issue really.

I do need to have seating for 3 people.

After months of searching I have found these 2 sites.

At this site, the price is within my budget, under US$800 if possible, but I am not sure of the quality/look.
Has anyone seen these seats in an Auto Accessory Shop, and can they comment on them?

then there is this site.
They just seem to look better, and one that looks OK is #300 Series Truck Seat on end of first line.
Once again, anyone seen these in the shop, and can they comment?

On my truck, the interior door panel is brown.
I have bought new carpet and a dash-matt, in black.
I have to have seating for 3.
I have to be able to buy them in the Long Beach Ca. area.
I don't need any fancy lumber support, and definitely no heating in then.
They have to fit a 1975 F100.

Does anyone know of any other sites or businesses that sell these type of seats.
Does anyone know where these 2 sites above are located....eg. are they in Ca.?

Once again any comment/advice will be much appreciated.
Cheers
Phillip

You might want to doublecheck with the boys over on Ford Truck Enthusiasts but I'm pretty sure that the seats will interchange on all f-100/f-150-350s from 1967-1979. (You shouldn't have to find one for only a '75)

No Boomyal: Ever been called a "dickhead" or if in polite circles, then a "richard-head"?
Well the term "dicked" is derived from that, and the meaning sort of changes from one of being a smart-ar*e or clown-come-idiot to, in the case of the seat, "it needs a bit of effort to bring it up to an OK standard", which is sort of what a "dickhead" needs too..
Guess you knew that anyway.
It is quite a common term here.

CN Spots: never thought of asking that question of the F Truck Enthusiats. The guy called Mil1ion there has been really helpful to me, so will do it tonight.

I guess I have to find who sells them in Ca.
Thanks
Cheers

If I am helping you can expand that to Greater Los Angeles/So Cal Metropolitan/So Coast Basin . . . etc. They're are only 9 - 15 million of us in roughly twice the distance I rode the train to your house . . . ;) non-issue dude :D

BTW, there should be a lot to choose from. I'll do some poking around too . . .

That's 9-15 million minus One. Now I know why I'm not there anymore. That's a whole passel of people and I suspect more and more of those I don't care to be neighbors with.
