It is time to replace my steering cable on my 1987 Suntracker pontoon. The old cable numbers indicate that it is 192 in (16ft). When looking to order a relacement I see I have a few choices.

1. Teleflex no feedback 4.2 Rotary
2. Teleflex NFB Safe-T II
3. Teleflex Safe-T Quick Connect

What is the difference between the three and which should be my preferance. The cost varies, but I am not opposed to paying more if there are advantages of one over the others. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Curt

Re: New Steering cable

I used a Teleflex no-feedback on my pontoon and fish & ski boat. The fish & ski runs 60+ and made it much safer without the pull. Before you could not let the steering wheel go for a split second without it going where it wanted to go. The no-feedback works. I Put one on the party barge with a 140 hp and it works good also. You do have to change the helm. Good luck
