Hello all. I have a 19' open bow with a 140HP Johnson OB. The original steering system was a rack and pinion. Someone told me that I cant use that anymore and need a rotary, is that true? Thanks
No, not true at all. Teleflex still offers the rack system and it's fine. I'd go with an NFB system if you want to eliminate any torque steer issues. Otherwise The Rack is probably not much different from what you have now. Are you replacing?
