My buddies 2010 Suz. 115 4 strk.(5 hours) just died twice today when he hit the tilt switch on the throttle while underway. batteries were fully charged and a beeeeeeep sounded each time also, once at wot. his boat has had numerous other electrical issues as well and seems to be draining batteries when not in use. 2010 Seaark Rivercat. Any ideas on whats wrong? or should this be posted in the Electrical forum?

Wiring harness would be my guess at this point, sounds like some wires are shorting together possibly.

Re: New Suzuki elec. problem?

That was what I told him I thought. Its back at the dealer today. Thanks for the opinion. He said he was not going to be so nice when he talked w them this time because his boat has been messing up since he bought it. First, trolling motor would not work, then he had expensive electronics installed, they didnt work, and I think it was two trips back to fix that!! then the batteries going dead in a week, now this, and he cannot take it elsewhere or violate his warranty. I told him for what he paid for the boat and all of his upgrades, this would make me pretty peaved. I would think they would test this stuff before giving the boat back to him. I think they said it worked fine before he took the boat each time but I dont believe that happened over and over again.
