You're in over your head if you believe that. It's not rocket science, BUT it is a lot of dirty, nasty, ichy, hard work. The material expense is not that much. Tools help or are can be an added expense. I did not complete my boat project, but I have lots of pics of the teardown. The last page & paragraph may give you some thought about spending project money.
Do some searches here and on the other forums, about deck,stringer/transom repairs...lots of pics and info available.

the beginning is by far the worst. everything is unknown. well, some things are known. the floor is much worse than you can see. try not to get caught up in how big the project will be, baby steps. you can't do it all on the same weekend anyway.

Click on the link in my sig. I have my project broken into sub-topics...take a look at the demolish section.

IT WILL BE MESSY! It has taken me over a year so far because I don't have a heated/covered workspace and I tend to research...plan...re-plan...stare at it...re-plan again....then actually do it.

Also.. go to google select videos and search for various topis...

Got this with the search BOAT REPLACE STRINGER text:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...l=2&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

they are pushing the MAS product, but the general procedure is the same for most resins.

Good luck.
