Hello everyone,

I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself to the community. I joined this forum because I’m interested in learning more about boating safety, proper maintenance, and the best practices that help keep everyone safe on the water.

I’m looking forward to reading through the discussions, learning from experienced boaters, and hearing everyone’s advice and experiences. There is always something new to learn when it comes to boating, and I appreciate being part of a community where people share their knowledge.

Thanks for welcoming me, and I look forward to joining the conversations!

@cwella , what boat do you own? Where do you boat mostly? What type of water ... lake, river, ocean, bay, ICW?

Find your nearest Coast Guard Auxiliary and ask them if they have a safety course coming up. Also always remember the 1/3 rule for fuel.
