Hi All, I've never been a boater (my dad had a boat when I was young) until 3 weeks ago when Myself and my wife decided to buy a boat, we found a LOM boat (little old man ) he used it to go fishing. The big question is what is it, it's register as a 1975 crestliner 16 foot fiberglass boat, but I haven't been able to find any markings on it anywhere.
It's true dimensions are 15 foot 4 inches long bow to stern and 76 1/2 inches wide at it's widest part, I'll try and upload pics, if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

that is probably what it is. crestliners were and are good boats. alot of that vintage boats used plastic pieces, for logos, that have long since cracked and been lost.

before I could figure out how to post pics I found out what the boat is, it's a 1960-64 Crestliner Chieftian, and it's the choice of professional waterskiers of that era, hopefully it will run for years thanks for the reply

That boat might out-live even you if you keep it off of the rocks.
