Re: new to forum..

Welcome to the forum! That's alot of boat you have there and since it was passed to your from your Dad .... I consider that priceless!

In the future (not necessary right now) limit your photo sizes to 640 x 480 and you will still have ton's of detail.

This post is in the right spot.

When it comes time to ask specific questions about the engine or out drive post them in the right spot.

Look around and browse. Play with the search function and you might find answer's without even asking ;)

Once again welcome to iboats!

Re: new to forum..

thanks everyone , my pop bought the boat about 10 years ago , replaced the deck and had a new motor installed. the boat might have 30 - 40 hrs on it sense motor was installed. it has a pump out head , fresh water tank and sink. im not much of a water man my self , but that could change , i would have to buy a bigger truck in order to put this boat in and out of the water..i have a f-150 and i can tow it down the road but i wouldnt risk trying to put it in or out of the water with out 4 wheel drive. i would like to trade it or partial trade for compact tractor w/ a backhoe or really any size backhoe or heavy duty truck like a daully , i have the boat listed on craigslist right now for $8500 i thought it was a good statrting price because i know my pop has over 20k invested..but we will see.

Welcome aboard !

You should keep it, and every fish you catch off it, remember your dad.

BTW your not gonna get nowhere near that money for it.

Trailer is probably worth more then the boat.

Good luck young man in all your future endeavors.

Re: new to forum..

thank you , your probably right , so i will negotiate price , its a shame that boats dont hold there value..and i dont have enough free time to make it worth keeping for myself , i probably wouldnt use it 2 times a yr , maybe.. so ill sell her so she doesnt set and waste away..

Too bad you don't want to keep her, If you do decide to every one could help ya with getting her sea worthy, I don't know what she is worth, I only know what boats are worth in the heart. Any pics of the interior?? **** pit?

Re: new to forum..

shes sea worthy..really just to much boat for one person or me rather..i have captained this boat everytime we took her out but again just to much boat for me , but ive been thinking more and more about keeping her as of late..i would like to make her go faster than she does so a prop change is probably in order if i do end up keeping her..there is some unfinished wireing but just for things like interior lights and such..not that big a deal as i would never be out at night..although i have been before..so now im trying to find this forum for thunderbirds ive heard mention of..

Re: new to forum..

sounds like you have not made up your mind to keep or sell-- so my advice is to slow down and think of what your dad would want you to do-- i don't know what your situation is but seems like you have the ability to keep her welcome to iboats and good luck
