New to me 2001 90 HP Johnson Tilt/Trim issue

Hello,

I have this new to me 2001 90 HP Johnson. The motor will trim up fine. It will tilt up fine. It will tilt down fine. But it gets stuck trimming down. The trim motor is running, but the motor is not moving. If I push down on the lower unit, the motor will slowly trim all the way down.

Here is a pic of my system. Any help or conversation starter would be most appreciated.

Could be your steer tube nut is to tight or it just needs help. Put it in the water and run it and see what it does.
