My dad built a boat from plans he bought over at Glen-l.com a few years ago. He's more into the project than using the end result - always been that way, even with muscle cars and street rods. He's on to other things now and gave me his boat. Check the link to see photos:

It's powered by a small block chevy through a velvet drive transmission. It hasn't been in the water for about 3 years so I have a bit of freshening up to do this winter. I'm working on finding a place for the fishing boat so I can get this one back from the lake and into the heated garage for the winter. That should give me a little to do anyway.
I'll use the fishing boat in the spring and fall, leaving the summer when they aren't biting for tubing and showing the boat off at the beach.
Just wanted to share that with the people who can appreciate it most.
