new to me evinrude with issues

I recieved a 40 hp evinrude on friday model 40673B serial C503404
I had it fire and run off fuel dumped in the carb so that part as good prospects.
the wire harness was cut off right at the cowl but I did get the box with regulator and shift box

I have sort of figure out some of the wire stuff but not all so a wire diagram would be nice.

it is also missing all the prop stuff I will have to locate this stuff

please add to this info or correct it

shift = green
blue
gen = yellow
blue
choke = red

main power large red and black

unknown wires
black/blue
white
brown

That's a 1966 model. I'd get a service manual if you plan on working on the motor yourself. See this thread for wiring info - should be about the same.

can anyone send me a photo of the proper prop set up for this motor I have done a bit of looking and found one picture of different year but the prop I was given doesn't seem to attach the same way. the prop I have fits the shaft and has a hole in the end for the pin. then the cone (I need one) goes on.

thanks a ton those are way better than the ones I had before
