I sold my 81 17 foot Seaswirl and picked up a 84 190 Four Winns 190 Horizon. I'm loving the additional power and room this boat has. However when I make a sharper turn at around 15 or 20 MPH, this boat feels like it tips into the turn a lot more than my last boat. It's to the point where it kinda scares the crap out of me. Someone say something to help calm my nerves.

If the previous hull was a tri-hull or something a little more flat, it could be that you're needing to get used to the way a deeper V hull turns. You're not getting water over the gunwale are you?

If the boat has a fin on the sterndrive, that could be the cause. If it does not, just don't make sharp turns and you will adjust to it.

The Four Winns boats, are all Deep Vee, and are prone to lean more then most. That's it in a nutshell ;)
