Hi peeps

I Yam what I Yam

My name is POPEYE and I am new here. UGG UGGG UGGG. I have turned wrenches on Helicopters, airplanes, trucks boats, stern drives, transmissions and motorcycles, Most have been paying jobs.

I do have both eyes but am bald and have large forearms. I have given up the pipe.

I hope to hang out here for a while and add a few laughs and a few tech tips to this ever growing hunk of flotsam and jetsam.


I just got back from a boat delivery where an injector failed and as result spent 23 hours at 1000 rpm limping 80 miles out. Had to steel the oil out of the generator and then recycle the oil out of the drip pan to get home. A caterpillar diesel with the top blown off the injector allowed blow by and fuel to dilute and fill the crank case....no tools on board, single screw boat.

I made it and the engine was spared. Who knew. Never give up the ship. Now I am back and stumbled on this interesting desert island of a forum

Hope not to tread on any other salts by the same name,

If the Mods are ready, I might just be able to add to the sea salt smell around this folkshole.
