Hi All,

thanks for the site and forums, it looks like it will be a huge help to me. i have recently purchased a 2007 Glastron GT 185 with a 4.3 l merc second hand with 9 hours on her. Love the boat, but unfortunatly i have no owners manual. is there anyone here that could point me in the right direction to find one? thanks again, i look forward to learning lots from the forums. thank you.

What you need is an engine and drive manual. I have around a 2005 Merc Carbed op manual. PM me with your email addy and I'll send. About 1MB . . .

Almost all boats are basically the same packages of gauges, wiring, components and engine/drive. The only real differences are in the cost level of these pieces and then there are some variations of basic type, like the actual throttle/shift control. Yours will be a typical Merc Commander I am guessing and should be covered in the manual I have.

For everything else, this place is your boat operation manual . . .

Welcome to iboats.
The owners manual I think you can buy from Glastron.
The engine and drive manuals you can download from the "adults only" sticky in the I/O section of the forum. The manuals are great as they cover everything from maintance to repair of all the components. They even cover break in procedure. Here is a link.http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=288430. The files are big so be patient. There are many other good things to read there, check them out.
