OBJ, would you kindly edit my FAQ, Awakening a Sleeping Outboard, delete the portion attributed to Joe Reeves, and re-direct readers to this new FAQ by Joe.

That portion of my FAQ, snipped from past Joe Reeves posts, wasn't exactly correct anyway and certainly was not as comprenhensive as this new FAQ.

Thanks OBJ and Joe Reeves. I can't count the number of times I've referred people to those instructions. They are indeed the most frequently asked question in the Johnny/Rude forum.

thanks, I like the the response, we are getting from admin. i requested it be added to the FAQ, last week. the new info section is a good thing.

Sorry for the delay....with the new forums opening and with the amount of problems the folks were having, some things just got put on the back burner. For a while there, there was a chance we'd go back to the old forum. So hopefully, we can start getting back to business as usual.
