Thanks again for all the comments guys. Much appreciated. And FWIW I do realize that Ford has assembly plants outside the US and that Foreign factories have plants inside the US. But, more important to me was the fact that Ford did NOT take any bailout money from us tax payers....guess the CEO wanted to keep flying in his Gulfstream....LOL

I don't blame you. I couldn't drive a Chevy or a Dodge because of the hand-outs. I'm a Tundra owner, but Ford would be my second choice.

BTMCB- didn't mean to hijack your thread. Its amazing how some folks get when you mention the word Toyota tho...

I am happy for you getting a new truck. I remember the day I brought mine home... I think I waxed it 3 times before I drove it...lol

Baja, 18" wheels as I recall. The color is Royal Red. It was the admirals turn to pick the color. Plus, she will be driving it mostly anyway to get to the ranch where she boards her horse. I'll use it only when we have the boat behind it.

in a corporation, profits go to the share holders, in the form of dividends. Or they reinvest in the company. Or they pay bonuses to a few high executives in the company. So it is a matter or toyota giving bounese to japaneese business men, or ford giving bonuses to american businessmen. But who cares abot a few billionaries anyway. There really is no such thing as profit in a corporation, just reinvestment in the company.

I sure could use a truck now. My wife insisted on a sequoia now I cannot haul anything in the back like I could a truck. F150 king cab would have been my choice.
