New Tow Vehicle

I'm thinking about buying my wife a new vehicle, she really likes the chevrolet equinox and the chevrolet traverse.Does anybody have any experience towing with either one of these vehicles, both of them are a V6 making at or over 250 hp and both are all-wheel drive. We will be towing a bass boat weighing about 2600 pounds thanks.

Check into what type of tranny it has, if it has the new cv type with the belts I have been told their not good for towing and voids the warrenty in some cases.

Both vehicles have a six speed automatic transmission and come with a tow package that includes the extra cooling stuff

A family friend had an Equinox and used it to pull 2 dirtbikes on a utility trailer... had tranny issues before the 3yr/36K warranty expired. After he got it back, he traded for a Highlander. Thats my only experience with them...
