You need to research the properties of TBIII. when fully cured it is not hard

We'll then you need to understand the requirements & properties of a quality built transom. Being waterproof is just one of many desirable qualities!

But it is waterproof and that's what I was after.

So any time ya drill a hole to mount anything,transducer,swim ladder,or anything,you find another void,fill it with tightbond,because its free for you. Please don't sell the boat around here.

Another thought is that 3M 5200 would've been a decent fix for those voids. It's runny/drippy so it would flow and fill the voids and it's an adhesive/sealer and cures out stout. You should also already have some of this on hand to seal all of your transom penetrations you're going to have to make.
