I also own the 69 version of this boat. tippy is not neccesarily the boat flipping but you flipping out of it. when my son and me are in it. If not paying attention to the other guy you can get suprised. I have platformed the front to the back of the old front seat. I have put in a bottom deck to the back seat along the top of the v and have two 4inch high seats basically where old front bench was and just left in the old back seat with carpeting covering to the back of that.. still scared to stand up in it.. Just me maybe.. Nice job so far..

Well I got it done and took the craft out for a maiden voyage. It is more stable than I thought it would be. I was perfectly comfy and the guy in back said it was fine. Much better than the previous arangement. Click thumbnail to make bigger.

I have almost the same boat. A 1961 though. My 62' Evinrude is not nearly enough. I wish I had kept the original color of mine, but it was badly damaged when I got it.
