I just installed a new water pump impeller kit and gauge they are Suzuki OEM parts. The pressure gauge show very low pressure. I have the ear muffs connected and water pressure seem the usual from garden hose. I did check and clear tube running to pressure gauge and pressure from where tube connect at engine seem strong, so is this a question of putting boat in the water to test real gauge pressure? I'm stumped!

Have you put it into the water yet?
On muffs it may not get enough water

Yes, I finely had a chance to put in water and it did make a difference in pressure. This is one for the book under Try It In The Water Too! LOL!

Even in the water, sometimes pressure gauges will display weak pressure depending where in the water flow the gauge it tapped into. So don't expect much in the pressure range. It is just how things work out. JMHO!
