Hey everyone! I just bought this 1973 Wellcraft V20 yesterday! Obviously it needs some work, however the MerCruiser will run great after I rebuild the carb. I can't wait to get started on it and share my progress with everyone! Here are some pics of the beast!

looks like a good project boat. What is that on the outside of the transom? It looks like fiberglass work had been done in the picture

Yes, it has had some work done to the transom. What's wierd though is that it looks like they just resined over the existing transom. Very strange. But it is solid as a rock! I got it running today! I love it and can't wait to put it in the water!

I owned one of those models several (actually many) years back. It was a good, dry boat. Best of luck with it!!
