I installed my '03 XR6 in place of my '95 115 merc. Everything is good except the 150 has a provision for an external oil tank. The 115 was built in the coweling. The 150 does have a very small oil tank in the cowel. Can I just run it off that tank until my remote tank comes in? There are two oil lines coming out of the engine, and they are plugged, can I just fill the small tank in the engine and run it enough to break it in? thanks.
